Jerry Seinfeld, the king of sitcoms, and the only man to pull off wearing a puffy shirt, is finally heading back down-under! After a five-year hiatus, Seinfeld is set to grace the stages of Perth, Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, and Melbourne come June 2024. The legend himself exclaimed his anticipation for the tour, expressing his fondness for Australia since his first visit in 1998 and eagerness to engage with the world-class Aussie comedy fans.
Seinfeld has not just been sitting around watching reruns of his iconic show. He’s been busy with his Netflix hit, ‘Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee’, and comedy specials like ‘Jerry Before Seinfeld’ and ’23 Hours to Kill’.
Let’s not forget his upcoming directorial effort – ‘Unfrosted: The Pop-Tart Story’. Set in 1963 Michigan, this film chronicles the epic breakfast pastry race between two rival cereal companies. With a star-studded cast featuring Melissa McCarthy, Amy Schumer, Hugh Grant, and James Marsden, it’s bound to be a treat!
Tickets for Seinfeld’s tour will go on sale next week. Telstra Plus members get first dibs on 14th November at 12 noon (local time), while the rest of the public can snatch up their tickets from www.tegdainty.com on 17th November at 12 noon.
