Cameron Skirving, Skirvo to the listeners, was born and raised in Launceston and has cut his trade as a veteran community radio professional before taking on the breakfast announcer gig on 7XS.

His passion is radio and music and he loves nothing more than to bring positivity to people’s day on the radio.

Cameron loves singing (he has a degree in performing arts), is an avid cricket and AFL Football follower, and has been a professional Goal Umpire for 24 years.

Skirvo is happily married to Angela and loves nothing more than a good chat and visits to the beach.
